Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Our Themes are digital products delivered instantly. Once you receive the files they cannot be "returned", so all sales are final once the download has been delivered. Please use the free live demos, screenshots, videos and Figma prototypes to evaluate a Theme thoroughly before buying, and email us with any questions first — we're happy to help you decide.
Orders are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which handles all refunds. This policy sits alongside Paddle's Buyer Terms.
1. When we will refund
Even though sales are final, you are entitled to a refund in these situations:
- Duplicate purchase — you were charged more than once for the same Theme and licence by mistake.
- Non-delivery — you paid but did not receive access to your files, and we could not fix this within 5 business days of your report.
- Not as described — the Theme is materially different from its description, demo or screenshots (for example, an advertised version such as the HTML or Shopify edition is missing).
- Unfixable defect — the Theme has a serious bug that prevents it from working as described in a supported environment, you reported it to us, and we were unable to provide a fix or workaround within 14 days.
- Unauthorised transaction — the payment was made without your permission (we will work with Paddle to investigate).
- Any other case where a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
To be eligible, please contact us within 14 days of purchase (or within 14 days of discovering a defect, for defect claims), and include your order ID.
2. When we cannot refund
Because files cannot be returned once delivered, we cannot offer refunds for:
- change of mind, buying the wrong Theme, or no longer needing it;
- issues caused by your modifications, third-party plugins, hosting, server configuration or unsupported framework versions;
- lack of skills or time to customise the Theme, or expecting features that are not listed;
- slight differences from the demo caused by placeholder content, images or your own data;
- purchases where the Theme has already been substantially used in a live project.
3. EU, EEA and UK customers
Under consumer law you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance purchases. For digital content, this right ends when delivery begins with your consent. At checkout you expressly request immediate access to the download and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Your rights in section 1 above still apply.
4. How to request a refund
- Email hello@aivcj.com with your order ID (from your Paddle receipt), the email used at checkout, and a description of the problem (screenshots help).
- We will reply within 2 business days and try to fix the issue first.
- If a refund is due, it is issued through Paddle to your original payment method. Refunds normally appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
You can also contact Paddle directly through the link in your receipt.
5. What happens after a refund
When a refund is issued, your licence to that Theme ends: you must stop using it, delete all copies, and you may not use it in any end product. Download access is removed.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please contact us before opening a chargeback — we resolve almost every issue quickly. Unjustified chargebacks may lead to suspension of your licence and account.
