License Agreement
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This License Agreement ("License") explains how you may use a theme or template ("Theme") you buy from Pulse (by AIVCJ) ("we", "us"). When you complete a purchase, we grant you the licence below. The Theme remains our property; you are buying a right to use it, not the Theme itself.
1. Definitions
- Theme — everything delivered with your purchase: source code (for example Next.js, HTML/CSS/JS or Shopify Liquid), styles, scripts, design files, documentation, and included imagery, illustrations, icons and animations.
- End Product — one website or web application that you, or one client of yours, build using the Theme and make available to end users.
- You — the individual or the single legal entity that bought the licence.
2. Single-Site License (standard)
Unless the Theme page states a different licence, your purchase grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:
- use the Theme to create one (1) End Product, for yourself or for one client;
- modify, adapt and combine the Theme with other works as much as you like;
- use it in a commercial End Product (for example a business site or a portfolio that wins you work);
- install it on development, staging and backup environments for that one End Product;
- hand over the finished End Product to your client, who may then use it under this License (you remain responsible for their compliance).
Each additional End Product requires an additional licence. If you are building multiple sites, agency or client work at scale, contact us for an extended licence.
3. What you may not do
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, lease or give away the Theme, or any part of it, as is or modified — including as a template, theme, starter kit, UI kit or code snippet — on any marketplace, repository or website;
- make the Theme's source code publicly available (for example in a public Git repository or as an open-source project);
- use the Theme to build a product for sale to multiple buyers (such as a site builder, template marketplace or SaaS where users choose or generate sites from it);
- use the Theme in more than one End Product under a single licence;
- remove or alter copyright notices within source files (visible credits on the website itself may be removed);
- use the Theme, or its included illustrations or characters, in any trademark, logo or brand identity;
- use the Theme for unlawful, defamatory, hateful or deceptive content.
4. Included imagery and placeholder content
Illustrations, images, videos and animations included in a Theme may be used only as part of the End Product built with that Theme, not separately (for example, not in other projects, merchandise or stock libraries). All names, people, companies, case studies, metrics and text in demos are fictional placeholders — replace them with your own real content before going live; you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you publish.
5. Third-party components
Themes are built on, and may include, third-party software, fonts and libraries (for example Next.js, React, GSAP, Lenis, Tailwind CSS and Google Fonts). Those components are licensed by their authors under their own licences (such as MIT or the SIL Open Font License), which apply to them in addition to this License. Some third-party services you may connect (hosting, email, analytics, payments, Shopify) require your own accounts and are subject to their own terms and fees.
6. Updates
Where we release updates or fixes for a Theme, you may use them under this same License. Updates are provided at our discretion; we do not guarantee compatibility with future framework or platform versions.
7. Ownership
All intellectual property in the Theme remains with Pulse/AIVCJ and our licensors. Your own content, and the custom code you write, remain yours.
8. Termination
This License ends automatically if you breach it or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. On termination you must stop using the Theme and delete all copies, including from any End Product that has not been lawfully completed and delivered under this License.
9. Warranty and liability
The Theme is provided "as is". Our warranty, support and liability terms are set out in our Terms of Service (sections 7, 12 and 13), and our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available.
10. Governing law
This License is governed by the laws of India, as further described in our Terms of Service.
